Who We Are

We are a Chemical Synthetic Biology (CSB) lab at Purdue BMCMP that aims to apply multidisciplinary technologies such as chemical biology, biochemistry, biophysics, medicinal chemistry, and synthetic biology approaches to answer two basic questions: 1) how does the human microbiome contributes to cancer progression? 2) how can we target and take advantage of the tumor microbiome for novel cancer therapies (especially immuno-oncology)?
